Dave, the owner, is always zipping around the restaurant, running food or greeting guests. The restaurant even offers two guest suites upstairs for an effortless commute to and from dinner! If you’re looking for a dining experience in a taxidermy-clad restaurant and bar, The Schoolhouse Inn, run by Julie, who never misses a beat, is a fantastic place to eat and stay in Downsville, NY.

A great stay in Andes, NY is at The Delaware House. The Farmhouse, or one of the three Longhouses, is within walking distance of dining and shopping. There you will find your friendly host, Skip, who is an incredible resource for all the information on what to do in Andes.
Head to Roxbury, NY to pick up a bottle of wine from Roxbury Bottle Shop. You will meet Greg and Joe there, who are always eager to fill you in on what to do in the Roxbury area.
