The summer brings about an array of events to Walton. Each Friday the Walton Farmers Market is bustling with live music and fresh veggies, meats and goods. First Fridays, a town wide event the first Friday of each month, is an event spotlighting local businesses with specials and activities. August brings the annual and robust Delaware County Fair with tractor pulls, local produce, carnival rides, demolition derbys and much more. The Fairgrounds are open to the public year-round with winter events like snowmobile races and space for walks and jogging. Check out The Castle on the Delaware, this former armory building looks like an actual castle. This restaurant and event space hosts a wide array of events from live music, open mic nights to roller-skating parties.
