Supporting Businesses in Delaware County

During these challenging times, we at the Delaware County Chamber of Commerce are going to do whatever we can to promote the businesses that are still able to offer our their services to the area.

We have removed all events through June in accordance with what I LOVE NEW YORK is doing on their site.

Sis Boom Yum is a new website that will be offering updated information on what restaurants and shops are open in Delaware County. This site will keep people up to date on where they can get get take-out, delivery and special orders. This is done in association with Delaware County Chamber of Commerce, The MARK Project and many individuals providing updated information and content daily.

Along with other regional entities including the Center for Agricultural Development and Entrepreneurship, Delaware County Cornell Cooperative Extension, Watershed Ag Council, Pure Catskills, and the Food and Health Network of South Central NY , the Great Western Catskills and Delaware County Chamber of Commerce are encouraging local food businesses (farms, farm businesses, restaurants, grocery stores, liquor stores, and others) to use this shared directory to get your information out to the community.

The ripeCommunity Directory allows food businesses to create a listing for themselves and update food availability in real time, giving consumers a cost-free, one source, way to access accurate information about food options, hours of operations, ordering instructions, and food safety precautions. Community members can also use this platform to understand donation support options, regardless of a business’ operational status.

Instructions for food businesses and consumers can be found by clicking the logo below. If you have any questions or feedback, please feel free to contact ripecommunity@ripe.io

We are continuing to keep our social channels updated to help share offers from local businesses.

If there is anything that we can do to support your business, please let us know by reaching out to tourism@delawarecounty.org.

These are incredibly trying times but tourism will be one of the businesses that leads the inevitable recovery of this great Country, this incredible state and our beloved Delaware County.
