Stone & Thistle Farm Stay
Open year round, Guests enjoy the first-floor suite in the 1863 Greek Revival farmhouse or the Farmhand Cabin. The suite has a private entrance and backyard and includes a bedroom with a queen size bed, private bath and library, refrigerator, microwave oven and coffee station. Roll-out single beds can be set up in the attached library to accommodate 2 other persons.
Weekday Farmhouse Suite $145 1 Night Stay (1-2 persons): The suite’s refrigerator is stocked with breakfast fare of egg quiches, muffins, granola, hard boiled eggs, fruit, yogurt, milk, eggs, juice , coffee and tea. A Hot breakfast is served in the farm’s restaurant for $12 per person. Lunch picnic baskets available for $20.
‘Tour and Chores’

Field and Kitchen Private Workshops

Bring your horse on a farm stay. The horse barn can accommodate 2 horses. Hay and water provided. $25 night. Ride on our quiet, country roads or the local parks and trails that welcome horseback riders. Bear Spring Mountain state park stretches between the towns of Colchester and Downsville, NY and is a park designed for riders that boasts miles of horse-accessible trail and 24 horse-tie stalls. The 26-mile, multi-use Catskill Scenic Trail from Bloomville to Roxbury is another good spot for horseback riding, as is the Parksville Rail Trail near Liberty.
