The Victoria Rose Bed and Breakfast

Let the Benzinger family welcome you to their 1897 Victorian home.

As you enter The Victoria Rose, romantic old world charm will capture you; colored lights stream through stained glass windows, background classical music fills your ears and restored rooms filled with antiques surround you. The breathtaking floor to ceiling carved fireplace will awe you.

The Victoria Rose is nestled in the Catskill Mountains in the rural country village of Downsville, built in 1897 by Dr. Edward Holmes for his office and private residence.

Relaxing on our porch is a very special time for our guests (and the innkeepers too). Please feel free to ask us about planning your stay and where to enjoy gourmet or casual dining.

A warm friendly atmosphere with gracious hospitality awaits you. From the moment you awaken to the delicious aroma of breakfast, until those last quiet moments you spend in your favorite wicker chair on the porch – your stay will be memorable at The Victoria Rose.
