Franklin Stage Company

Franklin Stage Company is the only fully professional admission-free theater housed in historic Chapel Hall, built in 1853 and formerly the home of the Delaware Literary Institute.

Franklin Stage Company’s summer season runs from July 4–Labor Day and is comprised of two professional Actors Equity Association productions and two live music events.

The Company produces classic and modern plays bringing audience and artists together to share the enduring power of stories. Each summer, Franklin Stage also presents 3 to 4 emerging and established artists working in a variety of performance disciplines.
