It’s Christmas on the Farm time! Spend Black Friday and Shop Small Saturday at Maple Shade Farm with local gifts, art, wreaths, greens, antiques, collectibles, making spaces, food and fun. Sip and shop through four historic buildings.

Start your holiday season off by joining the team at Catskill Regional Harvest for a holiday event featuring Santa Claus himself. Visit ‘the Harvest’ on Saturday, November 30th (1pm-4pm) and have your picture taken with S A N T A while you pick up delicious goodies for friends and family.
Margaretville, New York
Saturday November 30, 11:00 am – 4:30 pm
Join in for the annual Holiday on Main, part of Small Business Saturday. This year’s event will kickoff at 11am with a Grinch themed parade. After the parade, there will be wine tasting, photos with Santa, kids crafts, hayrides, model trains, chocolate tasting, book signings and more. Also, there are two pop-up artisan holiday markets this year – the Holiday Bazaar at Margaretville Central School and the Holiday Pop-Up Market at the old Miller’s Drug Store. The day will end about 4:30 with traditional caroling and a tree lighting ceremony.
Delaware & Ulster Railroad, Arkville, New York

Climb aboard on the Delaware & Ulster Railroad line for a 90 min holiday ride through the winter scenery of the Great Western Catskill Mountains. Along the journey listen to the story of the Silver Sleight, a magical tale of how a passenger train traveling through the snow bound Catskills discovers Santa and his grounded sleigh. Hot chocolate and cookies will be served. Tickets available online.

Hancock’s popular Christmas on The Square event is back this year with fun for the whole family! Enjoy the area’s best Parade of Lights, a live ice sculpting demonstration, wandering Dickens carolers, and, of course, a visit from Santa Claus along with the annual tree lighting ceremony. Enjoy music and games, free holiday goodies and refreshments, s’mores, cookies & cocoa, as well as numerous food and craft vendors to help you get a jump on your holiday shopping.
