HOBART

Hobart is a quaint town in the Great Western Catskills with a rich agricultural history and, presently, a strong connection to books. Known as the Hobart Book Village, this sleepy yet adorable town has seven bookstores on its Main Street, making it an excellent destination for book lovers. Among the seven bookstores are several antique shops, an art gallery, a country store, a wine shop, and other unique places to be found. You can go for a walk in the great outdoors and also enjoy annual events that celebrate the charms of Hobart.

Stay at the historic Rich Country Farmhouse, which has been owned by five generations of the Rich Family and offers a charming country stay in rural Hobart along the Catskill Scenic Trail.
