Fishing the Rivers and Streams of the Great Western Catskills
It’s no secret that fly fishing in the rivers and streams is legendary among anglers. New York State has purchased fishing rights on miles of streams in addition to streams on public land. Look for the following access points with area for parking, which are clearly marked by roadside signs.
Please remember to use marked foot paths and walk on the banks of the public fishing areas only. Picnicking, building fires, camping, hunting, trapping and other activities on these lands is prohibited. Please observe all posted regulations and remember to carry out exactly what you carried in and leave all areas as you found them for all to enjoy.
