Deposit, located on the West Branch of the Delaware River and home to some of the best fresh water fishing in the world, was given its name because logs were “deposited” in the river to be floated downstream to market. In the foothills of the Catskills, Deposit is a beautiful place with pristine waters and great recreational opportunities.
