Snowmobiling enthusiasts love the hundreds of miles of well-maintained trails in Delaware County with scenery that can’t be beat – just picture yourself riding through rolling mountainous terrain with hills, woods, rivers and lakes. These local snowmobile clubs will be happy to give you recommendations and the latest info on trail conditions:
Central Catskill Trail Association
D&D Snowdiggers, Inc.
Delaware Valley Ridge Riders
Delaware-Otsego-Chenango Snowriders
Hamden Hill Ridge Riders
Ride responsibly! Make sure your snowmobile is in good working order, wear a helmet, ride within your ability with at least one other person, be careful around frozen water, and never ride under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Additionally, please respect landowners and always make sure trails are open before setting out for a ride. For more on safety, see New York State Parks’ snowmobile safety video.
