While you can buy a tree from almost any street corner around Christmastime, making a day out of going to a tree farm to pick your own tree creates a very special memory. For some families, it’s an annual tradition they wouldn’t dream of changing: walking around the farm looking for the perfect tree, then cutting it, taking pictures, and maybe even enjoying a festive picnic to end the memorable occasion. What makes it even better is that a tree farm will always have the freshest trees that will last through the holidays, unlike pre-cut trees from stores that may have been tied up and waiting for days or weeks to be brought home.

Families can choose and cut their own tree, but for those who need help, assistance and pre-cut trees are available. The farm also sells a variety of other products for the holidays, including reefs and kissing balls. Open 10am-4pm daily.

The Hawley Family Tree Farm has been offering local families the unique and enjoyable experience of picking out and cutting their own fresh Christmas tree for over 20 years. From the weekend following Thanksgiving all the way through Christmas Eve, visitors are welcome to come to the farm, search for the perfect tree, then warm up in our cabin with homemade cookies, cider, and hot cocoa. Open 10am-5pm on weekends.
