Ice skating is one of the most classic and charming activities to enjoy on a winter’s day or night. Taking a spin on the ice with family or friends on a sparkling winter afternoon with perhaps the promise of hot cocoa afterwards – is there anything more delightful? Our small town ice rinks are perfect for creating fun winter memories with your loved ones!
While skating on a frozen pond or lake might seem idyllic, ice rinks are the safest option for better supervision as well as for easier access to emergency services in case of accidents. Weather permitting, the following ice skating rinks here in the Great Western Catskills are open to the public, and most of them offer skate rentals so you don’t have to own a pair of your own.
As winter has been slow to start this year, be sure to check in with the rink or town before you journey out!
