  • Andes Art & Antiques

Some of life's most interesting treasures are surprises hidden away from public view. Tucked away in a small barn behind an old Victorian farmhouse in Andes Village, far from the maddening crowd, Andes Antiques & Art is packed to the rafters with exquisite 19th and early 20th century paintings, modern masters, prints, sculpture, ceramics, WPA, fine furniture--old and modernist, rare books, jewelry and an inventory that rivals any good Madison Avenue shop. Open Thurs. Fri. Sat. Sun. Mon. and by appointment with Merna Popper. We buy, sell and trade.

  • Axtell Antiques and The Rookery Bookery

In 1968 the House of Axtell Antiques, also known as The Rookery, was born. This lovingly restored inn now houses some of the best examples of early Americana with emphasis on scarcity, unusual form, and superlative, untouched condition of our museum-quality offerings: baskets, stoneware, treenware, redware, folk art, iron hearth accessories, country furniture, textiles, art work, glassware, and early lighting devices. In 2012 The Rookery Bookery was established as an adjunct to The House of Axtell Antiques. Featured at this bookery are hundreds of books, periodicals, catalogues, and paper ephemera.
